Mr Daniel Enang Speaks:
We became members of different political parties for a reason. We also in one time or another believe in what our dear Local government (Biase) can be. In the face of chaos, within us, there’s that faith and believe for peace, In time of great despair, we had encourage ourselves with the flair of hope for better days.
Though in retrospect, we have been in political situations that have shut us out, left us with unfulfilled promises that end up dividing us and making us our own enemy. I believe there’s still a chance for us to rebuild that which have been broken, to regain our lost trust. To become a United Community that can be one people, reaching for what’s possible, and building a more perfect union to rebuild Biase.
This and more form the basic of my aspirations.
As a long standing politician, who has committed his time, energy, finance and intellect towards building a positive synergy between my party and the people. I have witnessed first-hand and also seen the need for a progressive representation that will put us all the people of Biase in the map of a working and Progressive LGA.
In the last past political decades, we’ve been promised several unfulfilled promises, we’ve been told that the anxiety Biase Youths feels about not being included in leadership decisions concerning our dear Local government is misplaced. But thank God for the new approach of governance by our Governor His Excellency Prof Ben Ayade and His deputy our father, His Excellency Prof Ivara Esu. Making youth inclusiveness in governance possible.
Gone are the days, we where told that our crises are somebody else’s fault and also distracted from our real failures, and told to blame the system and sometimes the party.
It’s time we become part of the process, part of the decision making. Time we choose what is best for us as a people and not completely Lock out from the processes of governance. It’s time we the people decide what best fit and who and where our Mandate lies.
I understand that, in this period, they’re those who will come to you with vain promises, the cynics, and the lobbyists, and those who special interests is turn governance into a game only they can afford to play.
They will write the checks only for you and me to get stuck with the bills after they’ve stolen the mandate, they get the access while you get to write a letter without replies afterwards, they think they own process, but it is time for us to take our Mandate back. The time for the politics without results is over. It’s time to turn the page. It’s Youth O’clock.
We have a lot to do to place Biase among the ‘A’ list Local government Council in Cross River State. And it won’t be easy. That’s why we’ll have to set priorities. We’ll have to make hard choices. And although our first priority is to gain the party (APC) trust for a ticket, our win will become the true beginning for a new Biase.
I am determine to build a team of vibrant and resourceful Biase sons and daughters to help us initiate programs and policies that will unlock a new Biase.
Each of us, as youths, women and men of Biase LGA, should adopt this projects as their responsibility – for ensuring a new and better Biase, for adapting to a more competitive and productive economy, for strengthening our communities, and sharing some measure of sacrifice. So let us begin. Let us begin this hard work together. Let us transform this Local government.
Let us be the generation that reshapes our economy to compete in the digital age. Let’s set high standards for our schools and give them the resources they need to succeed. Let’s create the avenue for jobs to our graduates and Youths in exchange for more accountability and resourcefulness across Biase. Let’s create positive platforms to attract investors into Biase and also encourage farmers with access to agricultural loans and grants.
And as our economy and the lives of our people improves, we, together will become the generation and political dispensation that ensures true democratic experience and dividends in Biase.
Support the Daniel Enang Projects and let’s Biase State Constituency in the state House of Assembly create the positive mark for our people.
