Daniel Enang was born on July 7, 1983 at Betem, Cross River State of Nigeria, to the family of Mr & Mrs Ivang Enang Echip. He is the third child in the family of five children.
Daniel Enang was born in Betem Town where he had his early education (P.C.N Primary school Betem), and attended his Secondary School (Biase Secondary School (both in Biase LGA) at Ehom and thereafter went to the University of Calabar where He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Environmental education (2008-2013) and a Post Graduate Diploma in environmental science (2018-2019)

Mr Daniel Enang is a born leader who’s leadership qualities became visible after his appointment as the Senior Prefect of Biase Secondary school Ehom back in his secondary school days. (2000 – 2001) he also became the president of the Betem student Union an umbrella group advocating for the interest of the students in Betem Community.

He began his political journey in 2007 as Personal Assistance to the then executive Chairman of Biase Local government Council, Onun Dr Emil Inyang, and served for three years.In 2013 he was Appointed the Chief Press Secretary to Hon Enebieni Ana, the Executive Chairman Of Biase LGA then. A position he handled well for three years.

Currently the Secretary of Biase Local Government Council, Mr Daniel Enang  works tirelessly to strengthen the developmental strides of the Executive Chairman Of Council, Hon Mrs Ada Charles. His pragmatic approach to duty and his selflessness to service has earned him an Eximia award for Emerging Leader 2021, an award which proves the exceptional leadership qualities of Mr Daniel Enang.

Daniel Enang, is a Community leader a key player to the sustainable growth and development of Ehom Ward where he comes from, he has played major roles towards ensuring a peaceful coexistence among his people. He is the central Youth Chairman of Ibiae Landlords Communities, a position he used to advocate for peace, youth inclusiveness in the operation of WILMAR company in Biase plantation.  He is also the current Director of Biase Youth Movement, a pressure group which core goals is to ensure Youth inclusiveness in governance, protect the political interest of the Biase youths and also mobilize the youths for effective democratic transition across Biase. Biase Youth Movement which is widely know as BYM have produced resourceful and remarkable Young and vibrant leaders across all works of life.

Mr Daniel Enang is a seasoned entrepreneur who has made his mark in the business world. He delved into Business while in secondary school as a means of supporting his parents efforts. Over the years he has been involved in series of successful business transactions which includes supplies of woods, rods and he is the CEO of DE’VAN VENTURES and construction company, a company which has successfully completed several contracts with over 10 staffs. Having discovered agriculture as the mainstay of Biase economy, Daniel Enang started Enada agro company, a company which deals on agro production and services, with varieties of cash crops ranging from oil palms, potatoes, plantain and etc, engaging over 12 employees with monthly salaries.

Daniel Enang is resilient and Completely focus towards creating avenues that will help mitigate unemployment among his people. He is a go-getter, Hustler, humble in his dealings and Completely self reliance.
The Enada Agro company has engaged over 12 personal workers who are currently on monthly salaryMr Daniel Enang has mentored and empowered several young Biase youths, as a way of contributing his quota to the human development and also growth of the Local Government.

Mr Daniel Enang is married to his lovely wife Mrs Onei Daniel and blessed with four amazing children. He is a committed husband and Father.
